Going back to 1986 I have met and been around some super famous people. The funny thing is I really didn't seek meeting them or look to be near them at dinner, concerts or in public places. I'm also not that guy that tries to make my way backstage at concerts or jump in a photo or take a selfie. In fact, I have very few photos of my Famous Close Encounters. What I have is the memory of what was going on in my life and family's life at the time and often a funny story from the encounter or how the encounter was important in my life..

For several years I've had family and friends say that I should write a book about those Famous Close Encounters and to be honest with you, the name came on me last week and I was shocked that FamousCloseEncounters.com was available! I took that as a sign that this needs to happen, and as you can see in my current branding, I'm going to craft each encounter for the book into categories: Music, Entertainment, Sports, Business, Life and Faith.
